Was the Treaty of Versaillies fair?Why?

I think that the Treaty of Versaillies were not very fair at that situation. The Germans was not treated equally as they do not have the chance to fight for what they wanted, they were forced to signed the Treaty without other option. I think that it is the harshest and most complicated treaty ever.The Allies should give them a chance to dicuss the terms of the Treaty.The Germans are restrcted to 100,000 armies force , 15,000 men in navy six battleships and some smaller ships.They are also needed to pay 6,650 million pound of reparation.

Total Defence Day 2007.

a)Do you think it is relevant? Why?

I think that it is relevant to commemerate Total Defence as Total Defence is about all the different things that we can do everyday in every part of our society to strengthen our resilience as a nation.Total Defence consist of 5 different section(Military,Civil,Economic,Social,Psycological).Total Defence is a emergency exercises, to upgrade our skills, build strong bonds between different races and religions, and feel the pride of being a Singaporean, we must also contribute to Total Defence.


b)How do you think the commemoration of Total Defence Day can be made more meaningful and engaging for the students?
The commemoration of Total Defence is to let students know more about why Total Defence so important.Students can also try out the CCAs in school so that they can know more about the importance about Total Defence.Students can also surf the net for more information and how do they differentiate between each kind of defences.

Is History and the study of it necessary?

History is the study of the past.Yo must know the past to enable yourself to know what your ancestors had done or built, and how they suffer during the World Wars. You also learn History to know things in the past, so that you will also not make the same mistake that other of the past had made. It is necessary to study History as you be more expose to more things and gain more general knowledge.You can even discover things or information that you are not familiar with or things that historians or other people had never even found out.
